Community Health Worker Program

The Community Health Worker (CHW) Program will prepare you to enter employment in a variety of organizations. CHWs perform a broad range of health related functions, and play an important role in bridging the gap between cultures and healthcare systems. CHWs work with healthcare organizations to increase cultural competence, improve access to healthcare for racial and ethnic minorities, improve the quality of care for the chronically ill, promote healthy communities, and educate families about access to and use of health care coverage.

CNA Certification Now Offered with the CHW Program
As part of the 20-week Community Health Worker (CHW) program, CNA certification will be offered - this is your chance at a dual degree!
