On Wednesday, June 3rd, Summit Academy OIC hosted the first Open House for Ryan Companies and its sub-contractors to discuss the hiring of minorities and women on the key Downtown East Development project headed up by Ryan Companies. Summit Academy’s Rehab Tech Program on Kare 11

Through a partnership between Hennepin County and Summit Academy, a once-neglected house has been remodeled and renovated. Since September of 2013, 70 Summit Academy Residential Rehabilitation Technician students have worked on rehabilitating the house at 3245 Bloomington Avenue South in Minneapolis. A year and a half later, the house is now complete.  Click here to view the complete story
