All of our carpentry instructors are journeyman-level carpenters, with more than 70 years of combined experience in the field; Summit will help students learn how to enter the Union, for additional wage, education and employment benefits.
Students will be introduced to the basics of construction, including safety, hand/power tools and blue print reading. Students will also learn about the different types of paint, surfaces and ways to apply paint. In addition, students will gain hands-on experience by working on projects in the shop and on actual job sites.
Course Length: 20 Weeks for Pre-Apprentice Carpentry Certificate
Tuition cost: $4,500.00—Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
