What are the costs to attend?
The Pre-Apprentice Carpentry, Pre-Apprentice Electrical, Pre-Apprentice Plumbing Community Health Care Worker and Administrative Assistant courses are all $4,500.00 for adult students (or $225.00 per credit hour). Financial Aid is available to those who qualify.
The Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide course is $865.00 (this course is not covered under financial aid). This fee includes books, a pair of scrubs and the State of Minnesota test.
The Minnesota Department of Education pays the tuition for all Post Secondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) students.

Must I have a high school diploma/GED to enroll?
Yes. A high school diploma, GED, or enrollment as a PSEO student is required for all programs.
What are your hours of operation?
Office hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Vocational program hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:05 p.m.
Is this an accredited school?
Yes. SAOIC is accredited through North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Where are you located?
SAOIC is located near the intersections of I-94 and Olson Memorial Highway in North Minneapolis, near downtown on the #19 bus line.
